Believe

Hello!

I have decided to play again with this week’s Case Study Challenge #119.   It’s the last challenge for November and Angeline Yong, the month’s muse, has this to share:

Here is my interpretation:

SUPPLIES Stamps: (All Penny Black) Snow Family, Winter Wonders Dies: Cityscape Nightline (Memory Box) Embossing Folder: Swiss Dots (Provo) Other: Fire Brick Distress Marker (Ranger); Archival Jet Black Ink (Ranger), Foam Stickers (Scotch); 1 3/8" Punch (EK Success)

SUPPLIES  Stamps: (All Penny Black) Snow Family, Winter Wonders  Dies: Cityscape Nightline (Memory Box)  Embossing Folder: Swiss Dots (Provo)  Other: Fire Brick Distress Marker (Ranger); Archival Jet Black Ink (Ranger), Foam Stickers (Scotch); 1 3/8″ Punch (EK Success); Twine (Martha Stewart Crafts)

I used several aspects of Angeline’s card on mine.  I thought I’d make a Christmas card with a skyline to highlight them. I first partially stamped the Santa and his reindeer from this  adorable stamp. I punched out a circle which included a part of my image.  I then embossed the white card panel as a snowy backdrop.  I added this die cut skyline then added the sentiment on the bottom. Twine was wrapped around several times between the skyline and the sentiment panel for a border effect.  The completed panel was adhered on a card base with dimensional stickers.

Other challenges entered:  The Play Date Cafe challenge #159

Oh!  If you haven’t done so already, please visit the Penny Black blog!  They are showcasing the new “Love is in the Air” Valentines Collection.  Such beautiful stamps in this release.  I’m particular for “Sweet Buds”  and “Love Birds”  and you will probably see a card with these images on this blog very soon.

Enjoy!
