Thoughts of You

My second post for today.

Here is a card that I intended to enter in 2 challenges.  I missed the deadline for Case this Sketch (darn it!).  I haven’t played along for a while that I completely forgot the timing!  In any case, the sketch is based on CAS(E) This Sketch #19.

I have also entered the card to Moxie Fab World: The Speech Bubble Challenge.

SUPPLIES Stamps (all Paper Smooches) Word Up; Chit Chat Papers: Solar White (Neenah); Madison Pattern Paper (Penny black) Inks: Onyx Black (Tsukineko); Distress Markers (Tim Holtz/Ranger); Antique Linen Distrss Ink (Tim Holtz/Ranger) Other Corner Rounder (We R Memory Keepers); Flower Embellishment (Michaels)

SUPPLIES Stamps (all Paper Smooches) Word Up; Chit Chat Papers: Solar White (Neenah); Madison Pattern Paper (Penny Black) Black CS (Michaels) Inks: Onyx Black (Tsukineko); Distress Markers (Tim Holtz/Ranger); Antique Linen Distrss Ink (Tim Holtz/Ranger) Other Speech Bubble Punch (EK Success); Corner Rounder (We R Memory Keepers); Flower Embellishment (Michaels)

I punched the speech bubbles on patterned paper and distressed the edges of the bubbles as well as the perimeter of the paper.  The patterned paper was adhered to white cardstock and the stamped the words (courtesy of Paper Smooches) inside the speech bubbles.  I also adhered the card panel to black cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped on a narrow strip of white cardstock and formed into an arrow.  Finally, I added a flower embellisment for more pop to the card.

Take care!
