I LOVE all the critter images that Penny Black offers.  The images from Critter In Love (30-208) are just TOO cute!  To create this card, I first die cut the word “Kisses” from the die set Love Expressions (51-025) at the top center of the card panel.  I removed the cut and stamped the image of the two mice looking at each other below the negative die cut.  Prismacolor pencils were used to color this image.  I set the card panel aside.  On a separate piece of cardstock that is slightly longer than the diecut image, I watercolored 3 strips of color matching the flower bouquet.  I used Distress Ink as my medium with a little water to create these strips.  Once dried, I arranged the cardstock – adjusting how I wanted the color to peek through – behind the negative diecut and adhered it.  I then added patterned paper to the card base and then adhered the card panel with foam tape.

Be sure to check out the DT’s creations all this week on the blog.  Remember, you have until January 31st to enter the challenge.
