Mimi is today’s highlight. I thought I’d use another Inchie Arts ATC to highlight my image.
This cute Mimi image is from the clear set Winter Fun (30-189). I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her with Copic Markers. I added clear Wink of Stella to the star topper. The image was fussy cut and set aside.
I used a cream Inchie Arts 2.5×3.5″ ATC as my background for Mimi. I colored the ATC with Faded Jeans and Seedless Preserves. I wanted to create a starry night and decided to add stars using my Confetti stencil and white embossing paste. I then colored my stars with a gold Wink of Stella pen.
Like my last post, I wanted to create a snowbank for Mimi. I partially stamped the image again on white card stock and created my snowbank with the stamp markings where she would be standing and the tree. I attached that to my ATC and then attached Mimi with dimesional foam.
I decided that my card base was too plain for Mimi. I wanted to still keep it white and decided I would add clear stars for dimension. I randomly stamped the small solid star from Hello Winter (30-141) with Versamark ink and embossed them with clear iridiscent sparkle embossing powder. I then stamped a sentiment from Beauty of the Season (30-254) and then adhered my ATC to the card.
And, yes, if you noticed, I made a boo-boo on Mimi’s face – accidentally got blue ink. I couldn’t really hide it but tried to make it fade with my Copic blending marker. It was my second attempt coloring her and she still, to me, looked great. So there she is!
Until next time!
